Our Adventures in NYC

On the way to GA from ME we took a side trip to NYC. Travis thought it would be fun to show us around and have dinner at the famous Carnegie Deli, since I have wanted to do that for a long time. It was exciting to be in the city that is the backdrop of so many things. We saw Ground Zero, rode the subway, went to Grand Central Station, Radio City Music Hall, and Times Square. Dinner at the Carnegie Deli was great and we had a much anticipated, very delicious Reuben. We also tried Matza Ball Soup, and 2 different kinds of Knishes. There was a waitress that made over the girls so much and kept stopping me as I was walking back to our table, going on and on about how beautiful they were. Then she came to our table later and went on about it some more. Travis asked if they were free sandwhich beautiful, but they were not.

But, it was not all fun as we got back to where the car was parked and it was not there. Once we confirmed that it was definitely towed and not stolen, we made our way via a taxi, to Pier 76 at the NYCPD impound lot. $185.00 and 2 hours later we got our car back and were on our way back to the hotel in Newark. Lots of lessons learned after this experience, but I don't think we'll be going back to NYC for a very long time.

was so cool being there- a definite highlight of the
trip to the city.
