It's official

T got orders today! I knew they were coming and I guess I knew what they would say, but it really hit me hard that he's going away when I read them. They read "your dependents will not accompany you because of the arduous nature of this duty......" He will be supporting the global war on terror. WAAAHHH!!

Navy wives are strong though, and I'll get through this. Thank goodness I have my wonderful family to help me while he's gone.

How long has it been?

It's been over a year since I last posted! And, let me tell you so much has happened that I don't even know where to begin. I have to say that I am beginning to come out of what has been a very depressing year for me. I experienced depression like never before and I started feeling like I didn't know who I was anymore. But, I hope I am stronger and wiser because of the things I've been through, and I plan to take one day at a time and make the best of each day. I have several reasons for blogging again and the number one is because writing can be therapeutic and I think that will be good for me as my life changes direction. Also, I want to keep friends and family updated on what's happening with us.

The happiest thing that came out of the last year was the birth of our beautiful baby, Katelyn Rose. She is so precious and just so plump and juicy that you just want to eat her up! We feel so blessed to have her in our family. She was the product of our 10 year anniversary trip to Germany last year. I can remember the moment vividly when T and I were in bed and I was playing Dr. Mario and doing pretty well on level 9 when he convinced me there were other things we could be doing.

Having 3 kids is so much harder than having 2! And, having 2 in diapers is CRAZY!!! There are lots of sweet moments though and that makes up for all of the pee and poop diapers I change daily and for my dry cracked hands.
